Our client invited us to Sanya for a project there last week, it was a 3 days video shoot and we had some great time there. The client was lucky enough to have 3 days of great weather, not so hot, no rain, and not much fisher man trying to stop us during the beach we blocked.

Funny is that we went to Sanya before and this time we changed our impression towards this place, Sanya is a expensive place to travel, and the problem here really is lack of video production resources, from our local producer told us, the big equipment company just closed their branches there so there is not many opportunity to rent the gears locally.

Director came from Hongkong eventually brought his own gears including 1DC and a few 5D MARK III, with 4K the beach looks amazing, he also did some work with the local drone guy to get some iconic aerial shot, the video will be online fairly soon. We will keep you posted.
